Athlete of a rocky start, as 'Dancing' Season 13 begins

 
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. - With a new ballroom and ten new celebrity contestants, the most talked about season of "Dancing with the Stars" began, but a champion of the world basketball star is already adifficult start.

He may have been successful in the courtroom earlier this week, legally changed his name to Ron Artest Metta World Peace, but the Lakersstumbled before the opening dance at the fair - a cha-each with the newcomer to professional competition, Australia's Peta Mergatroyd.

"It's a new season, we have a new game, but it's the same old twists onthings," said British judge Len Goodman. "It was all sizzle, no sausage, I'm afraid."

Bruno Tonioli had kind words for the sports star, telling him to work on his"technique".

"If we are working in the art, it will get better because it has power and hasa presence," he said. "Just go ahead dance-a-tron."

As the only female judge - Carrie Ann Inaba - she was influenced by Ron(called "Ron" in the program).

"Now we know it will be wild," he said. "You are a kind of eccentric andkind of sexy."

 
"You like that?" Ron replied coquettishly.

Despite winning Carrie Ann with her charm, she gave him only five points,offered just 4 Len, Bruno and another five for a total of 14/30.

The competition continues and dozens of stars, including Kim, Khloe andKourtney Kardashian, Lamar Odom, Dana Delaney, Courteney Cox, andAndy Cohen are packaged in "Dancing" ballroom of the new image, searching.
